After evidencing the lack of knowledge about brain condition in the Support Group, the Foundation decided to organize a conference with health professionals, directed to patients and caregivers.

The conference was named: “Brain Injury: from Prevention to Rehabilitation” and took place in Isla Verde Courtyard Marriot, on April 2013. It took an entire day, lunch was included.

During the morning of that day, three invited specialists exposed about brain complexities, different conditions and the importance of good nutrition. In the afternoon, other three guests focused on rehabilitation techniques, physical and occupational therapy, speech therapy and therapy in water.

About 120 people assisted, making this event a total success.
